tcabc15 Tibetan cabinet circa 1930-1960 Tibet, 32" high x 40" wide x 12" deep; traditional bowl and horn design. The mustard seed bowl is one of the eight symbols of 'bringers of good fortune'. The origins of the horns, which represent elephant tusks in unknown. It is thought that it is an ancient Chinese symbol adapted by the Tibetans' historical preference for embroidered and woven Chinese silks.
