This wonderfully carved stand was originally used with a marble or jade 'picture' stone in the middle. The stone would have been a cross slice which imitated a stylized landscape. You can find your own picture stone or use it as a beautiful vanity mirror. This Chinese antique is crafted from semi hardwood with a detailed floral and dragon motif.
