This Chinese antique is a red lacquer cabinet has been painted with scenes from China long ago. It was made in the mid to late 19th century and is from the Shanxi Chinese province.

This cabinet has its original lacquer and is in fine condition for its age. Scholars and court officials scenes are depicted on the front of the cabinet.
