This Chinese antique red lacquer cabinet is one of our favorite pieces. It is from early to mid 19th century Shanxi Chinese province and is in all original condition. Scholars and court officals adorn the lacquered doors. The quality construction and painting indicate this cabinet was the property of a wealthy family.

Large Chinese antique drawing table and set of eight chairs. The table is constructed with ‘arrow leg’ joinery indicating its age. Six chairs are in the “official hat” style and two are arm chairs from Shandong. The antique elmwood chairs have been repainted to match. This is a hardwood table of teak and elmwood. Circa mid-Qing Dynasty 1750-1850
